Welcome to TWT — Travel The World Tour. TWT is a GenZ halal travel app built on a simple idea: save first, travel after. No loans, no interest, no debt. Just you, your squad, and your next plot twist.

By using TWT you're agreeing to these terms. They're written in plain English on purpose. If something's unclear, email us — we're real people.

Who we are

"TWT", "we", "us" refers to the operator of app.traveltheworldtour.co and the TWT mobile PWA.

What you get

Your TWT account unlocks:

• A personal savings tracker tied to real halal travel destinations
• Squad features — invite your crew, celebrate milestones together
• Raya, our AI travel agent, for personalised destination ideas
• Curated halal-friendly trip packages from verified local operators

No interest. Ever. Your money stays yours until your trip is fully funded. TWT does not charge interest on savings, and we never will.

What we don't do (yet)

Real talk: the TWT wallet is currently a tracker, not a bank. We do not hold real customer funds at this stage of the product. The savings amounts you see are for planning purposes.

Real payment rails are coming in Phase 2 via a licensed e-money partner. When that launches, we'll update these terms and give you 14 days notice before anything changes.

Your account

• One person, one account. No sharing, no bots.
• You must be 18 or older to use TWT.
• Keep your credentials safe. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, harass other users, or game the platform.

Halal claims

We aim for prayer-friendly schedules, halal-food-sorted itineraries, and partners who get it. We work with local operators who share those values.

Important:TWT does not issue halal certification. That's JAKIM's job (and their equivalent bodies in other countries). We do our best to curate responsibly, but always verify specific claims with the venue or operator directly.

5% to causes 💚

5% of every funded trip is pledged to verified charitable causes. We publish receipts on /impact. The causes we support may change over time — we'll always be transparent about where the money goes.

AI agent Raya 🤖

Raya is TWT's AI travel companion. She's helpful, she's fast, but she's an AI.Don't make major life decisions based on her suggestions alone. Confirm visa requirements, pricing, and halal certification with a human travel coordinator before you book anything.

Content & IP

Trip descriptions, destination photography, and curated itineraries are licensed to TWT or supplied by our partners. Unsplash photos are used under the Unsplash License.

Your content (comments, kudos, squad posts) you own.By posting within TWT, you grant us a limited licence to display that content within the squad it was posted to. We won't use your content for ads or sell it to third parties.

Acceptable use

TWT is a positive space. Please don't:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Spam, impersonate anyone, or post misleading content
• Scrape TWT data or reverse-engineer the app
• Use TWT for anything illegal under Malaysian law

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this without notice.

Liability

TWT is provided "as-is" during MVP. We act in good faith and work hard to keep things running. But we're not liable for travel disruptions caused by airlines, hotels, governments, or acts of nature. Always get travel insurance — seriously.

Termination

Either of us can end the relationship at any time. If you want to leave, use the "Download my data" tool in /settings before you go, then delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be resolved in Malaysian courts.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before they kick in. Minor clarifications may go live without notice, but we'll always show the effective date.
